Almost Ready to Reopen!!

I'm sooo soo sorry it has been over half a year since I last posted.
I can't really think of a better excuse of absence other than lack of motivation or inspiration, or maybe it was overly ambitious of me to try and create a monster I couldn't tame...
My first attempt at an etsy store was a DISASTER! I jumped in the deep end without taking swimming lessons first, metaphorically speaking. My packaging was horrible, my product needed tweaking, and I had too high of expectations for myself.
Sound like a familiar story of your etsy cherry pop?!? hahahahaha... ahem

Anyways, Now I'm definitely coming back stronger and wiser.
I'm creating new products, including;

Headbands!!

and...
Jewelry!!!!

I'm learning new techniques, like using resin for jewelry and sealer spray on duct tape surface for different textures, so I'm really excited to share my new products with everyone!

Duck brand duct tape has come out with new and awesome designs that I'm totally psyched about using, and I found out Duck brand also makes unique designed packaging tape!!!
SCORE!

So needless to say my options are much greater.

Another highlight of my crafting world, I changed up my craft area.

I love this little craft area, mostly because it only cost me $30 out of pocket to create and all of that money was spent on the red Ikea shelves! I previously owned everything else, including the two white shelves I reused from an old bookshelf and the wire fence I reused from an old trundle bed frame! Those silver cans are also reused from coffee cans (I drink lots of coffee) that I tore the label off of and stuck hooks through the top so they could hang from the wire fence.
YAY for smartz!! haha

And in the passion of redecorating, my dining room also received a face lift.
Fun facts about this set up: The chair covers are actually purple stretchy book covers, the table is a former sturdy work table for only $20 at Goodwill, the huge rubik's cube I purchased at Hobby lobby for 50% off, the art was $10 as Ikea, and the four square shelves I purchased from Ikea and painted them myself...

As if you can't tell, I love to be thrifty :D

Please be patient with me, my lovelies. It has been forever since my store was up and running, but the time has only made me stronger. Soon, I will be selling all my awesome creations for you all to enjoy! :D
